Wings of Expansion: Winners Chapel’s Airstrip Approval
One thing remains certain: this development is a confirmation of God’s plan unfolding for the body of Christ.

Zechariah 2:4-5 KJV
[4] and said unto him, Run, speak to this young man, saying, Jerusalem shall be inhabited as towns without walls for the multitude of men and cattle therein:[5] For I, saith the LORD, will be unto her a wall of fire round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her.

Wings of Expansion: Winners Chapel’s Airstrip Approval
During the Tehillah Night Special Edition, a special thanksgiving service honouring Bishop David Oyedepo’s 70th birthday celebration,
held at Covenant University Chapel, Canaanland, Ota, Ogun State, Bishop Oyedepo shared the joyful news with the congregation, saying:
“I’m sure you’ll be glad to know that the federal government has approved an airstrip for Canaanland. We’re walking in the centre of God’s plan.”
The bishop expressed his gratitude and enthusiasm, highlighting the convenience and accessibility the airstrip will bring.
“I won’t need to fly a helicopter to the airport anymore. I can go from here to wherever I’m going,” he said.
Additionally, Bishop Oyedepo noted that the airstrip will provide a secure and convenient landing spot for church members who own planes.
“Members with their planes will now have where to land and park,” he added.
This significant milestone marks a major infrastructure boost as it is expected to enhance borderless connectivity and accessibility for the church community.
Wings of Expansion: Winners Chapel’s Airstrip Approval
For years, critics have questioned the church’s wealth and investments, often misinformed and uncomfortable with the grandeur of its worship centres.
“Why build luxurious churches instead of hospitals or factories?” they’d ask.
Now, with the announcement of an airstrip at Canaanland, the church’s international headquarters, the critics are likely to have even more to say.
But one thing remains certain: this development is a confirmation of God’s plan unfolding for the body of Christ.
Despite the naysayers, Winners Chapel continues to push boundaries, demonstrating faith in action.
This airstrip is more than just an infrastructure; it’s a symbol of vision, progress, and divine providence.
To the critics, the message is clear: God’s plan cannot be hindered.
The church will continue to thrive, innovate, and expand its reach, all to the glory of God.
As Bishop David Oyedepo would say, “We’re walking in the centre of God’s plan.” And that’s a fact no criticism can change.
Matthew 28:19-20 commands us to “go and make disciples of all nations.”
But how can we efficiently fulfil this Great Commission without the necessary tools?
The recent approval of an airstrip at Canaanland, Winners Chapel’s international headquarters, is a significant step towards easier kingdom expansion.
This development also enables faster, more convenient travel, facilitating the spread of the Gospel to every corner of the world.
As Jesus promised, “I am with you always, to the very end of the age” (Matthew 28:20).
With this new airstrip, the body of Christ is better equipped to obey His command.
We rejoice with Winners Chapel on this milestone!
May this pave the way for: More planes and airstrips for kingdom expansion,
increased accessibility to remote areas, and efficient discipleship and evangelism
Congratulations, Winners Chapel! May God continue to bless and empower the ministry.
