The french brand, Chanel, founded in 1910 is set to sponsor the Oxford-Cambridge boat race as the official timekeeper and title sponsor of the event.
The event set to take place on April 13th 2025, is said to have an attendance of over 250,000 spectators with a live broadcast on BBC.
The rowing competition which is said to be the oldest major sporting event in the UK will be called the Chanel J12 boat race to complement to the luxury brand’s unisex watch.
This move is going to be Chanel’s initial entrance into sports sponsorship,
