We have enough evidence to Believe that He who overcame the world is Faithful to Do it again.
And We can Trust God to work miracles in our circumstances.
The stories full of fear, anxiety, and uncertainty that the worldly media feeds us daily can have an impact on our faith.
However, God allows us to see His goodness and faithfulness in Our lives so that we can ‘share our testimony with others to invigorate their faith.
If God did it once, He can do it again!

“Lord, do it again here, in this situation.”
The Hebrew word for testimony is eduth, which means ‘witness’.
It implies that God can do any miracle again with the same power and authority.
When we witness, we retell the story of how the Lord saved us.
We describe how His power was displayed before our eyes in our time of grief, pain, sorrow, or loss and affirm that He came in and miraculously delivered us.

The Power of Their Testimony
We all have stories to tell about God’s faithfulness.
Some stories might be splendidly detailed, and some rather modest,
but short or long, all those stories account for the goodness of a faithful God.
God left us a written testament of His love for us, in which He made the promises to sustain us as we walk this earth.
When we choose to cling to those promises, the One who stands behind them upholds us in our time of need.
Even when we walk through the valley of the shadow of death, He promises to walk with us (Psalm 23:4).
Jesus told us, “Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows.
But take heart, because I have overcome the world” (John 16:33).
Now that is magnificent news,
but when we are going through rough terrain in our life, the cross where Jesus overcame the world seems far away.
Or at least, that’s what the enemy of our souls would like us to believe.
If Satan can get us to question God’s promises, to believe that they are not for us, that our circumstances surpass His power, or that we are not worthy of His goodness,
then he can accomplish his task.
Just as he did with Eve in the Garden of Eden, Satan still accuses God of being unjust,
and us of being victims or perpetrators.
In reality, when we became new creations in Christ, we became children born of God.
We are not victims of injustice, but conquerors with Christ, who is our righteousness, holiness, and redemption.
The cross is not distant from us.
It is where we meet Jesus daily to lay our lives down and follow our Savior.
Jesus didn’t get that title through nepotism.
He has the title of Savior because, by the sinless life He led, we can be called righteous.
By the death He died, we can be free from sin.
And by conquering death, He made it possible for us to begin living eternal life with God the Father right here and now.
God keeps His promises because He is faithful.
As His children, the stories He writes of His faithfulness in our lives have the power to overcome our enemy’s accusations.
Heavenly Father, I thank You that in Jesus, all of Your promises are yes and amen.

Revelation 12:10-11 KJV
[10] And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ:
for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.
[11] And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

Before and After
There are many before and after scenarios we go through in life.
Before and after learning to drive.
And Before and after getting married or having children.
But there is one before and after that makes an eternal difference in our lives—before and after receiving Christ.
The gospel of John says that Jesus came to His people,
but they did not receive Him; those who did receive Him were given the right to a new identity as the children of God (John 1:11-12).
There are instances when the Heavenly Father allows His children to go through difficulties that no one can explain.
It is only because of His love and grace in the before and after that we can testify that God never failed us—
He was always there.
There is the before of an orphan and the after of being adopted and embraced by a loving family, which now gets to tell orphans about God’s love.
And There is the before life of a criminal who met Jesus at rock bottom, and He gave him an after as a soul-winning preacher.
The before of being an addict who lost everything, to the after of living as a righteous, free man before God and his family.
And The before of losing an unborn child while being terminally ill and the after of beating the odds against cancer,
living a healthy life, and using every breath to worship the Lord.
There is the before of a little girl who overheard her parents say that she should’ve been born a boy, who later became rebellious and homeless,
to the after of finding her identity in how God sees her and making Him her home.
The before of a child of God who was mentally ill, abused, and practising witchcraft, who was saved, delivered from demons, completely healed,
and now lives a life to teach others to live free and holy in Jesus.
There is also the wounded marine who lost both legs and whom God healed from his physical, emotional, and mental wounds,
and is now living a life to proclaim that he can stand because the God of angel armies is his banner.
Also, There is the before of being infertile, conceiving and bringing a weak, sick baby into the world,
to the after of God healing that baby boy who now worships Jesus along with his family.
Heavenly Father, thank You for being with me in my before and after.

John 21:25 KJV
[25] And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen.

He Can Do It Again!
When Goliath was challenging Israel’s army, young David remembered what God had done through him to save his father’s sheep from the lion and the bear.
David believed that as He had done it for his flock, God would do it again for His children.
David knew that it was not his power that had saved the sheep, but the Lord’s power that had been displayed for His glory.
That is why David was confident that God would do it again, with the same power and authority He had shown before,
so much that he convinced King Saul to send him to fight Goliath.
Peter had witnessed the Lord’s authority over sickness, death, storms, and demons.
So, when it came to walking on water as his Master did, Peter believed the Lord had to command it.
Peter said, “Lord, if it is you, command me to come to you on the water.”
Peter knew.
He had seen so much evidence of the Lord’s authority to doubt that a heavenly power backed his Master’s words.
So, Peter was saying, “Lord, do it again here, in this situation.”
The gospel is the power of God to save those who believe.
We can be sure there will be more hard days when we will need to witness to ourselves, like David did saying,
“Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits” (Psalm 103:2).
In trouble, we do tend to forget God’s faithfulness. Peter forgot when he was already walking on water.
The wind began to blow, and he became afraid and sank. Fear connects us to what we see; faith connects us to the unseen (Hebrews 11:1).
Let us hold fast to Jesus Christ without wavering.
We have enough evidence to believe that He who overcame the world is faithful to do it again.
And We can trust God to work miracles in our circumstances.
Heavenly Father, please display Your power in my life, time and again, for Your honor and glory.

1 Samuel 17:33-37 KJV
[33] And Saul said to David, Thou art not able to go against this Philistine to fight with him: for thou art but a youth, and he a man of war from his youth.
[34] And David said unto Saul, Thy servant kept his father’s sheep, and there came a lion, and a bear, and took a lamb out of the flock:
[35] and I went out after him, and smote him, and delivered it out of his mouth: and when he arose against me, I caught him by his beard, and smote him, and slew him.
[36] Thy servant slew both the lion and the bear: and this uncircumcised Philistine shall be as one of them, seeing he hath defied the armies of the living God.
[37] David said moreover, The LORD that delivered me out of the paw of the lion, and out of the paw of the bear, he will deliver me out of the hand of this Philistine.
And Saul said unto David, Go, and the LORD be with thee.
