Spreading True Love: The Miracles of this Season
Land of Hope-Global, RCCG -City of David, Church on the Street; extends generous gifts and acts of kindness in Nigeria.
This Christmas season,
we have a profound opportunity to work miracles in the lives of others.
By extending generous gifts and acts of kindness,
we can bring joy and put smiles on the faces of those who need it most.
Sadly, many individuals are struggling,
having never experienced the delight of celebrating a festive season like Christmas due to their difficult circumstances.
Your heartfelt gift of love could be the miracle they’ve been waiting for.
I firmly believe that love surpasses all else, and it is the greatest miracle we can experience this season.
After all, the very testimony of our salvation is rooted in love.
In this article, I’d like to share three remarkable examples of love in action,
as demonstrated by some inspiring individuals in our nation this season.
Spreading True Love: The Miracles of this Season
As part of their annual Christmas tradition,
Land of Hope, Global, founded by Anja Ringgren Lovén, extends a helping hand to impoverished local communities in Akwa-Ibom State, Nigeria.
Every year, the organization distributes bags of rice to hundreds of families in need.
In 2023, this initiative brought joy to numerous households,
and Land of Hope, Global, aims to continue and expand this effort in 2024.
Throughout 2024,
Anja Ringgren Lovén has demonstrated selfless dedication to transforming the lives of abandoned and hungry street children in Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria.
Through her tireless efforts, she has been discovering and adopting these vulnerable children,
providing them with the care and support they need to live dignified lives.
Anja’s work with these children is truly beyond words.
For them, the Land of Hope is a haven, a place where they find hope, healing, and a new lease on life.
As they experience love, care, and support, they’re able to celebrate the true meaning of Christmas.
This is indeed a profound miracle of the season!

The Redeemed Christian Church of God, City of David, Abuja, has also been actively involved in spreading love and kindness this season.
In a selfless display of compassion, the church invested over 35 million Naira in a welfare and medical outreach program at Karonmajigi,
a community in the FCT that is home to many individuals living with disabilities.
The outreach effort included the distribution of essential items such as wheelchairs, hearing aids, walking sticks, bags of rice,
and medical equipment, as well as free medical consultations and other relief materials.

Church on the Street has also brought joy to those in underserved communities this season.
Through their ‘Big Smile Project 2024’, the organization reached out to displaced families at the Benue IDP camp in Nigeria,
providing them with essential aid and, more importantly, a comforting and caring presence.
According to Osazuwa Nelson Eguakun, COO of Church on the Street, the experience was incredibly fulfilling and heartwarming.
He had the privilege of leading a team of vibrant and enthusiastic volunteers in distributing essential food items to those in need.
Every detail was carefully planned to ensure the outreach effort was executed effectively.
This included sourcing and transporting the food, as well as strategizing how to distribute it fairly among the families.
Given the festive season, their mission took on even greater significance – spreading love and kindness to those facing hardship.
For Nelson, one of the most unforgettable moments from this experience was forming genuine connections with the families they helped.
As he listened to their stories, struggles, and hopes, he gained a deeper understanding of their experiences.
He was also deeply moved by the strength and resilience displayed by these families.
The happy faces of those they assisted remain etched in Nelson’s memory, a lasting impression of the joy that kindness can bring.
Nelson shared that this marks the third consecutive year Church on the Street has visited the IDP camp.
He expressed his conviction that God has a plan for each of the individuals they’ve encountered and that all they need to do is pray and remain open-hearted.
As Nelson aptly put it,
“Every small contribution, when we all work together, can bring important change and give hope during tough times.”
In TheDiadem’s recent publication, “The Miracles We Don’t Count“, we highlighted a profound truth:
Everyone’s struggles and challenges are unique, and what may seem insignificant to one person can be a lifeline of hope for another.
May your kindness and generosity this season be the miracle someone needs today.
We encourage you to share your blessings freely, as they embody the true spirit of the season!
