Should You Accept Worldly Defined Traits as Reality?
Your Spirit Man or Your Zodiac Signs?
By David Oletu (DCM)
What we need in life ultimately is peace. To be at peace, trust in God’s word, walk in the spirit and never settle for any zodiac signs!
Natural humans see their nature through the lenses of how the world describes them,
while Supernatural humans see their nature through the lenses of how the ‘Word’ describes them.
Dear Believers, how do you see yourself?
Psalm 73:26 KJV
[26] My flesh and my heart faileth: But God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.
Should You Accept Worldly Defined Traits as Reality?
It is important to know that how we see ourselves in the first place is a driving force behind our actions.
The world has attached certain zodiac signs to our personalities, and many of us have chosen to be identified as such.
As an Aries, you are likened to a ram, and you are told that you get angry easily, then forget why you are angry.
You are told that you tend to be repulsive, impatient, and hotheaded!
And You often react out of emotions rather than from a place of calm, clear-headedness.
you often say that you don’t care because you don’t always have self-control.
Also, you are also told that you are very insecure about your ability to control your destiny and that even though you lead with confidence, you are ‘actually’ constantly searching for reassurance.
As a Taurus, you are likened to a bull, and you are told that you are stubborn and that you hate big changes.
They wrote that You are slow to change your mind because change threatens your sense of stability.
And You are emotionally and physically lazy, losing sight of what ‘really’ matters.
But You are also told that you are reckless and that you struggle with overindulgence in vices because you don’t know moderation.
As a cancer, you are likened to a crab, and you are told that you are weighed down by your sorrow and the sorrows of others.
Your emotions vibrate at the slightest provocation, and you tend to carry deep grudges because you can’t easily forget what or who hurt you in the past.
As a Libra, you are told that you can’t make decisions on your own.
You are concerned about how people will feel about your decision, to the point that you can let them make decisions for you.
Furthermore, you are also told that you are bound by the limitations of your bodies and your minds.
And You constantly live in fear all your life! Fear dictates your behaviour. The Fear impedes your ability to be happy.
Also, Fear prevents you from achieving your goals. So, you feel very emotional, and you feel bad about yourselves for an extended period.
Should You Accept Worldly Defined Traits as Reality?
We have so many other zodiac signs with several weaknesses attached to them.
But the question is:
“Should Christians accept those worldly-defined traits in their lives as their reality?”
No! We shouldn’t!
1 Corinthians 3:18
“Do not deceive yourself. If any of you think you are wise by the standard of this age, you become ‘fools’ so that you may become wise”.
As believers, we should be careful not to define ourselves based on those worldly standards but based on how God sees us.
We have been set apart to conform to God’s image and likeness, not to any zodiac signs.
Therefore, we should be conscious of who we are in Christ and the ways we act in Christ’s reality.
While reading more about those zodiac signs, you will find out that many of those traits are truly seen in you as a human.
But if proper care is not taken, you will easily accept it as who you are.
So, when someone asks you:
“Why do you get angry easily?”
You respond to them that you are “Aries” and it is just your nature?
How sad!
That is not your nature!
Should You Accept Worldly Defined Traits as Reality?
You can’t call yourself a child of God yet settle with certain weaknesses and works of the flesh in the name of being tagged an Aries, libra, cancer, etc.
As a born-again believer, you are now born of the spirit.
And as a spirit man, you are a child of God who is strengthened to overcome every weakness.
God is not oblivious to our human weakness; that is why He gave us His spirit to help and comfort us when our flesh wants to fail us.
“For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love, and self-discipline.” ~2 Timothy 1:7
Truthfully, as Christians, as long as we are in this world, our weaknesses, which comprise the works of the flesh, will always conflict with our minds,
but we must never settle for it!
Psalm 73:26:
“Our flesh and heart may fail, but God is the strength of our heart and our portion forever!”
He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak (Isaiah 40:29).
And His grace is forever sufficient for us. His power is made perfect in our weaknesses! ~2 Corinthians 12:9

You may, however, be wondering how to overcome those weaknesses attached to your personality since you are human and still living in this world.
The answer first lies in how you identify yourself and the people you choose to identify yourself with.
What we need in life ultimately is peace. To be at peace, trust in God’s word, walk in the spirit and never settle for any zodiac signs!
More importantly, always remember to “watch and pray, so that you will not fall into temptation.
For the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.” ~Matthew 26:41
