Remember Your DNA
Isaiah 51:1-2 KJV
[1] Hearken to me, ye that follow after righteousness, ye that seek the LORD: look unto the rock whence ye are hewn, and to the hole of the pit whence ye are digged. [2] Look unto Abraham your father, and unto Sarah that bare you: for I called him alone, and blessed him, and increased him.
After reading Isaiah 51:1,
Let Us Pray:
Ask the Lord to help you remember your spiritual DNA—to remember the fullness and uniqueness of who He made you to be.
Ask Him to help you remember and recognize the things that refresh you.
Ask Him to help you remember and recognize what makes you feel most alive.
Pray that He would help you remember old dreams that you used to dream—dreams that are from Him that you have forgotten to keep alive.
Ask the Lord to bring every old dream back to life that He desires to resurrect.
Ask Him to help you make room in your schedule once again for the things that are uniquely you.
As you pray, look to the rock from which you were hewn. Remember Your DNA
Focus your gaze on Jesus, the Rock of Ages—and remember who God made you to be, as well as what He created you to do on this earth.
Most of all, however, remember that your true identity is found in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ—and that You are chosen and beloved in His sight.
You need to remind yourself of who you are in Christ, cast the cares of this world aside and remember who He made you to be, according to His Word.
