Only God Knows Tomorrow.
I Have Many Hopes and Excitement for Tomorrow, And I Give It All into The Palm of God’s Hands!
“Boast not thyself of tomorrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth.” Proverbs 27:1 KJV
Sometimes, we can be unaware of our thoughts and words when it comes to the future.
We can boast about our plans, be confident about what’s going to happen the next day, and express our excitement for future adventures and goals,
and yet we can still forget about the most important thing—that only God knows and holds the future.
Only God Knows Tomorrow.
It is our confidence in our own ways and plans that sometimes is the very reason for our downfall when we are caught by surprise and witness the unexpected events of life.
Beloved, it’s not that God doesn’t want us to enjoy tomorrow or plan ahead in time in hopes and excitement.
But we must boast only in the Lord.
We must not forget to acknowledge Him first,
and surrender all our future plans and goals into His hands,
so that we remain secure and confident in Him and His Word alone and not in anything or anyone else.
Stay confident in Him as He knows and holds the future!
Only God Knows Tomorrow.
Let Us Pray:
Almighty Father, thank You for holding my future goals and plans in Your hands.
I have many hopes and excitement for tomorrow, and I give it all into the palm of Your hands.
May Your will be done above all, more than my own ways and thoughts, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
