For it’s the Holy Spirit alone who give the Results.

What we need in our churches today is not a more organization.

(And) What we need is not bigger and better church edifices.

(Yes-) What we need is not more and better learned men behind our pulpits.

What we need in our churches today is the power of the Holy Spirit.

(Certainly) What you as a Christian need in that life of yours this hour is the power of the Holy Spirit.

For it’s the Holy Spirit alone who give the results.

Why was the Holy Spirit given?

For one purpose and one purpose only?

For service!

You and I are saved to serve.

Not one of us ought to live a defeated Christian life, not for one moment.

He’s made ample provision for power.

And He has made ample provision for victory through the person of the Holy Spirit.

Everything that Jesus had as he walked to the shores of Galilee is ours today.

He made that provision.

Everything they had in the early church is ours today.

And that is what Zechariah meant.

When he cried for, it’s not by might.

It’s not by power, but it’s by my spirit, say of the Lord.

[6] Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.

[7] Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it.
