I feel it’s important I share this testimony because I have been trying to ignore it as if it’s nothing serious but at the same time, I feel I really don’t know nor understand the magnitude of what God stayed awake all night to do for me while I was busy sleeping and snoring.
So, it happened that I signed two different contracts, one was a local contract that’s meant to pay in naira while the other was a foreign contract meant to pay in dollars.
After signing the foreign contract, I found out that an error occurred, and I tried correcting it the whole day, but it wasn’t working. I decided to chat up my director for complaints and after all said and done, she couldn’t get to the root of the problem.
I wanted to beg her to login with my details and help me correct it but on second thought, being someone who doesn’t like inconveniencing people, I refrained from doing that.
Fortunately for me, she opted on her own to do it for me and I was so excited. She requested for my details which I sent to her with prompt response, she requested for another information but while I was just about providing the information, she sent me a chat, saying that it’s already time for her to sleep, because she’s in China and their time varies from ours here in Nigeria.
This was her message.
“…I just realized I can’t help because in the future, you will need to do it yourself.”
When I saw that chat, I didn’t even know what to answer her; I got dispirited and angry at the same time.
“Okay. Thank you very much.” I managed to reply to her.
I was tired and she was the only one who could help me and now she’s saying she “just realized that she can’t help me.”
Well, I got angry and decided I was also not going to try that stuff again, I mean, “I will not do it again.”
I logged out angrily and switched off my data and went straight to bed, slept like a baby.
But the lady who told me it was time for her to sleep could not sleep! God kept her awake to help me!
She was disturbed, couldn’t sleep and was awake because of me!!!
From our phone chats, you will see where she told me that it’s already 6am but she hasn’t been able to sleep because of me and she was busy waiting for me to come back online so she can help me do that same thing and have her rest of mind.
In the voice note she sent to me, she was begging me to call her once I come online, that she doesn’t know why she’s feeling this way and that she had already submitted my information to her boss, and he will query her if anything happens to my contract with them.
And it was today of all days that I woke up past 7am that she was waiting for me. I was busy sleeping and snoring and turning here and there, farting and enjoying my sleep but my God kept my helper awake, removed her peace and sleep that until she’s done helping me, there should be no sleep for her.
So, I came online this morning, she was on WhatsApp waiting for me, her message greets me first and right there, she rectified everything, and the contract is mine!
I could have lost that contract, which is the biggest among the two contracts, if my God had not taken away her peace and sleep and kept her awake all night for my sake!
After that experience with her this morning, I said a prayer, “this is how God will keep all my destiny helpers awake all night starting from today!!”
