God wants His battle back!
It’s Not a Setback, it’s a Breakthrough!
And Suddenly ….
So, what’s next, God? –
That question keeps returning to my mind as we are approaching the end of the year.
How about you?
I do hope that all is well, knowing that God is faithful.
What are you going through right now?
you might be in the middle of a shift… and that can be difficult and frustrating.
God wants His battle back!
I have a 2-year-old son. He is an active boy and loves to play, communicate, and is pretty sociable.
Sometimes, I wish he had a stop button – Any parent would understand this.
But, Hey! I bet all parents love their children dearly, just like our Father in heaven.
Our son is now learning through playing with a specific theme of toys.
Some days are a farm theme, on other days it’s an ocean theme, and so on.
Some days, he likes something, and other days he dislikes it.
My wife changes the theme/toys at night after our son falls asleep, and the next morning he will find new themes/toys.
Sometimes God does the same thing for us.
God wants His battle back!
He shifts everything around.
Maybe you have been asking God;
“Why did I have to lose this job?
And why did my friends leave me behind? Can I cope with this? Is this going to work?” And so on…
What if God shifts everything because He knows it is not your place to be there any longer?!
What if God wants to present something new to you, to show Himself strong?!
God wants to promote you!
He is there with you!
And He’s going to show Himself strong!
It’s not a setback, it’s a breakthrough!
Ambush!
Maybe today, you are still in a battle, and you do still have hope!
In a battle, there are always 2 sides: you and the enemy.
It gets frustrating when we can’t see what the enemy is up to.
Sometimes, I do wish I could turn back or fast forward time
so that I could see what will happen in the future and how to prevent it.
A time infinity stone like the one Doctor Strange has in The Avengers movie, would be super cool!
Unfortunately, we don’t have superpowers.
But I believe, we all have Faith!
God wants His battle back!
Speaking of a battle, God reminded me of the story of Jehoshaphat.
I believe we all know who Jehoshaphat is.
In 2 Chronicles 20: 1-23 (ESV) – The Moabites, Ammonites, and Meunites were going to attack Jehoshaphat.

He was scared and prayed to God for help.
Maybe you are afraid too right now.
You don’t know how that problem came to you.
You feel like the more you try to solve it, the more it becomes worse.
Maybe you are confused about how to handle it.
On other days, you think all problems are solved, but there’s still another one coming!
Jehoshaphat was afraid too!
See how on verse 20-23, when Jehoshaphat & Judah lifted their praise — [this was an honest praise].
They were afraid, but still praising God!
Then God came through and set an ambush!
You might not see it coming, but God has set up the ambush for you!
He is coming through!
And He’s fighting your battle!
Your praise is not a waste!
God heard you!
God Wants His Battle Back!
When you praise God, He will surround you and fight the battles on your behalf!
One day – My wife, me, and our son were having lunch.
As usual, my wife had already prepared food for our son to suit his abilities and taste buds.
Suddenly, our son insisted on having my ‘big boy’ portion and using my utensils.
At first, I didn’t want to give in but seeing him insist, let him try.
And then, of course, he got frustrated because it was too challenging for him.
I’m not sure where you are right now.
Maybe you are on the verge of breaking down and you have taken too much lately…
Perhaps you need to receive this; what if God wants His portion back?
God wants His battle back!
Maybe you’re too caught up with the details and trying to handle everything by yourself.
It’s too much, isn’t it?
And It’s hard because is not your portion.
You can’t handle it and it’s messy!
Because it’s God’s portion. It’s God’s battle!
When God calls you, He has already planned everything.
You may now worry about the New Year because the outgoing year gave you so much trouble.
And You worry about your job, business, health, and family.
But look, God says; “Not this time My sons & daughters!
I’m coming through!
It’s My portion!
And It’s my battle!”
God wants His battle back!
