Breathe
No matter who you are or where you come from, we are all heirs and heiresses of God’s Kingdom. This message reminds you that you are worthy of God’s grace, love, and mercy. Breathe!!
Then the Lord God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being. Genesis 2:7
Breathe! No, really, this is instructive. Take a moment to breathe in and out… in and out…
You’ve just had the luxury to experience something billions of people are unable to experience any longer.
What is the cost of a breath?
Could you monetize it if you had to? Many would argue that they would pay any amount of money to keep breathing. Today, lives are flashing in front of our eyes…by the second, and Covid-19 is plaguing our world.
Have you stopped to reflect on the fact this disease primarily attacks the lungs, causing victims to cease breathing? George Floyd, the figure of the fight against police brutality and racial injustice cried out, “I CAN’T BREATHE” before dying.
There is an attack on breath, and it must stop. Racism, greed, hatred, police brutality, injustice, and inequality are suffocating us. In the current climate of our world, none of us are breathing with the intended freedom and peace God gave us.
In Genesis 2:7 we learn that God gave us breath so we could live.
It is a gift directly from God. In considering breath this way, we must use each breath we have to personally display the love and humility of Jesus, while teaching others to do the same.
Jesus was a disrupter; he challenged and confronted injustice and taught people how to live. We must do the same. let’s breathe!!!!!
Use your lungs to stand up for what’s right. Be the change you wish to see.
The EKG machine is designed to monitor and track the power you have behind each breath. Remind yourself to put life behind each breath you take because so many others haven’t been afforded this opportunity.
Share with others how you are being intentional with your breath this season.
We Thank Teestimony for providing this message.
