Are You Afraid of Some People?

In God have I put my Trust: I will Not be afraid what man can do unto me.

The LORD is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me? Psalms 118:6 KJV

If we are to be honest, there are some people who can intimidate us and bring us fear.

Are You Afraid of Some People?

For instance, a child who goes to school can suddenly be fearful of another student who is a bully.

We all do carry a presence coming from a spirit—it’s either the Spirit of God, the spirit of this world, or an evil spirit.

And if we are not careful, we can allow other people, by the spirit that they carry, to torment us just as a bullied child is persecuted by a bully.

Jeremiah 1:8 KJV

[8] Be not afraid of their faces: for I am with thee to deliver thee, saith the LORD.

Beloved, we can learn from David’s great faith and confidence in God’s presence.

As he said in the opening scripture, if God is on his side, what can man do to him?

Beloved, if God is for you, who can be against you? (Romans 8:31).

Be set free from fear of men, for the Lord is on your side. He is for you!

Are You Afraid of Some People?

Let Us Pray:

Lord God, thank You for Your powerful presence in my life through the Holy Spirit.

I am not afraid of those who try to intimidate me, threaten me, persecute me, and bully me, for You are on my side.

What can they do to me when You, Who is unrivaled, are on my side?

Thank You, Lord, in Jesus’ name!
