Abba Father.
Draw Me Close . . . Lift Me Up!
Abba Father, I long to be a vessel of your glory and for your glory.
And I long to walk with you step by step, moment by moment each day.
Transform my heart, my mind, my soul—all of me.
Thank you for the body you have given me, for energy and purpose, for hands, eyes, ears, and senses to enjoy you and your creation.
I Thank you for the ability to serve you and others.
And I Thank you as well for providing for my daily need and support.
Oh! Thank you for a full table, an overflowing cup, for appetite, taste, and sweetness.
We Thank you especially for the relationships of family and friends and most of all for my relationship with you.
Your overwhelming kindness and continual good gifts to me draw my heart to love you.
Fill me with your Spirit, guide me by your hand. Draw me closer than ever.
I want to love you more and more, even beyond my ability to comprehend.
Increase my love for you and for others.
Thank you, Father. Oh, Thank you, Jesus. And I Thank you, Holy Spirit.
In Jesus’ name I pray,
Amen
Abba Father,
I am overcome with deep gratitude and thankfulness to you.
For you are my Father, my Beloved, and the Lord and love of my heart.
You rescued, revived, and redeemed me.
And You filled me to overflowing with your light, your love, and your life.
Although I was once barren, dead, and hostile towards you,
still, you sent your Son to die for me, to take my sin, and in return give me Christ’s righteousness and everlasting life.
Apart from Him I would be nothing and have nothing.
Your Holy Spirit now dwells within me, and I am never alone.
Thank you, Father. I Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
We Thank you for every good and perfect gift you have given (James 1:17).
And Thank you especially for giving me yourself, the Greatest Gift of All.
In Jesus’ name I pray,
Amen
