About 20 -21 years ago my oldest daughter Julie was at school playing on the monkey bars, she fell off the monkey bars and because of that the nurse called me and asked me to go pick her up because Julie wasn’t feeling good.
So I picked her up and she told me what happened and she said she felt like her heart wanted to come out of her chest.
I thought nothing of it because kids fall all the time, but I noticed she would drink a lot of water every 5 minutes, she looked like she had been running in a marathon or something.
I noticed that her heart rate was really fast, and it did look like her heart was gonna pop out of her chest. So my husband and I took her to the hospital and as soon as we got there the nurse took her blood pressure and pulse, they took her to the back room right away and did an EKG.
The doctor then asked us what happened, so we told him what happened, he said that the fall she had made her heart move out of place and that her heart was overworking. So they did an ultrasound and did tests on her, her heart was still racing fast and the doctor said they were going to inject her some medicine that was gonna slow her heart down a bit.
I was right next to her when they gave her the medicine, and as soon as they gave it to her I saw her lips go from pink to white in seconds, the meds they gave her stopped her heart, I started to cry then the doctors injected other medicine to get her heart beating again, after some hours the doctors said we could go home and gave us some medications for my daughter to take and they also had her wear some machine that records any heart problems.
When we got home I just started to pray and ask God to heal her, I called my sister and asked her for prayers and she asked for prayers at her church as well. About a month passed when My daughter once again started to feel bad so we made an appointment with her cardiologist, they did another ultrasound and found that her little heart was soo tired of beating fast, they said her heart was like the heart of an old person, and they also found a piece of tissue on her heart that wasn’t letting blood flow to her heart and wouldn’t let her heart beat right.
They told us she needed to get surgery as soon as possible, they gave us an appointment for her surgery which was about 2 weeks later. During those 2 weeks, we prayed and prayed because the doctors said she had a 40% chance of pulling through if that.
I asked different pastors from different churches to pray for her, there were a lot of churches from different places praying for us. When the day came she was going to get surgery, the doctors reminded us that it was a dangerous surgery, so they got my daughter ready I kissed her on her forehead so did her dad, and when I gave her a kiss I said “Lord I leave her in your hands please watch over her, and if it’s your will to taker her I beg you to please give us the strength to get through it” then I told my daughter “Jesus Loves You Mija” the meds they gave her made her sleepy so she just fell asleep.
We waited in the waiting room for a few hours when we saw the doctor that did the surgery come out, she was walking towards us with her head looking down and nodding her head she was saying “I Don’t Understand” ” I don’t understand what happened” my husband and I fell to our knees and started to cry because we thought she didn’t make it.
As the doctor got closer to us, she says again “I don’t understand what happened” she said “A few seconds before the laser was about to cut that extra tissue she had on her heart, right in front of the camera that tissue just disappeared” “That’s a miracle” My husband and I yelled, “THANK YOU JESUS!!” The doctors were amazed, but we knew that the GOD we serve, The GOD who died for us That he healed my daughter. Then about 2 months after we took her to get a new ultrasound and the doctors were amazed that the old, beat-up, tired heart she once had become new, GOD had given her a brand new heart. And I am happy to say my daughter is now 31 years old with 4 babies of her own.
I know sometimes we think GOD won’t hear us, but GOD knows what he’s doing if we don’t. Only GOD has the power to heal and the power to give life! Trust in the Lord with ALL your heart!
